Fuel gas pricing

THE pricing of gas has been made very complex and irrational. It is the general norm to have a fixed price for all commodity and services for a certain period of time. In Bangladesh, however, the norm is not followed. For example, the rates for gas used in vehicle (compressed natural gas), fertiliser and other factories, household and commercial ventures vary. The rate for commercial consumption is the highest, followed by CNG, power generation, fertiliser production and household use. Full story
