JU CSE dept to launch SED

JU correspondent

Department of computer science and engineering of Jahangirnagar University will launch a new course titled socio-economic development.
CSE department of JU organised an open discussion on the necessity and introduction of socio-economic development at the department gallery on Thursday.
Chairman of CSE department Professor Humayun Kabir presided over the programme while Professor Zahidur Rahman of CSE and around 200 students attended the discussion.
Speakers at the programme said SED was fully a new concept where it referred to obtaining social and economic development of an area, region and a country by performing social welfare activities with economic managing.
