Three unnatural deaths in city

At least two people were killed in separate road accidents while a woman allegedly committed suicide in capital on Sunday.
At Kakrail, a rickshaw-van puller was killed on Sunday morning as a bus ran over him near the Anjuman-e Mofidul Islam Head Office.
The deceased was Forkan Miah, 40, a resident of Imambari Tathuria at Dakkhin Keraniganj in Dhaka. He hailed from Baufal upazila in Patuakhali.
The police said a speedy bus ran over Forkan near the Anjuman-e Mofidul Islam at Kakrail at about 8:30am, leaving him dead on the spot.
The Ramna police subinspector, Shafiul Alam, who recovered the body, said that they had arrested the bus driver Mohammad Shohag Moha, 25, and his elder brother Adbul Mannan, also the bus assistant, and seized the bus.
A case was filed in this connection.
At Mohakhali, an unidentified man, aged about 25, was killed as a train hit him near the Mahakhali level crossing at about 11:00am.
The General Railway Police sources said the Tongi-bound train hit the man in the morning while he was crossing the railway.
Aminul Islam, a student of Timumir College, with the help of some passers-by, took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with severe head injuries where the on-duty doctor declared him dead at about 12:15pm.
At Dakkhinkhan, a housewife, Jhumur Akhter Rattri, 20, allegedly committed suicide at their rented house on 180, Masjeed Road in the area.
The Dakkhinkhan police subinspector, Azizur Rahman, said on information, they went to the spot and recovered the hanging body of the housewife from the house at about 7:45am.
An unnatural death case was filed in this connection.
