Ctg court rejects remand prayer for former RAB commander

Staff Correspondent . Chittagong

A Chittagong court on Thursday rejected the remand prayer for former commanding officer of RAB-7, Zulfikar Ali Majumda, who is accused of looting more than Tk 2 crore from a shrine in Anwara upazila.
The court of judicial magistrate, Mashud Parvez, however allowed the police to quiz Zulfikar, a dismissed lieutenant colonel, for five consecutive days.
On May 10 the same court allowed the police to quiz Zulfikar for 10 consecutive days.
