Mrittika Multipurpose Co-operative Society elects new executive committee

Mrittika Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd, a newspapers employers’ co-operative association, held its annual general meeting and executive committee polls at Shahid Nabi School at Tikatuli in the capital on Friday.
In the election, Saleh Uddin Ahmed of the daily Ittefaq was elected president of the association. Md Alamgir Hossain of Bangladesh Shomoy was elected general secretary.
Birendra Bhowmik of the daily Inqilab was elected treasurer of the association and Jahangir Alam of the daily Amader Shomoy as join secretary.
Nazmul Karim of the daily Inqilab was elected vice-president and Sayed Mohammad Habibur Rahman of the daily Inqilab managing committee member.
The election was held under chief election commissioner Munir Hossain of New Age and two other associate commissioners Sayed Musfiqur Rahman of the daily Inqilab and Eisa Mohammad Golap of the daily Jugantor.
