British Council edn fair held in Ctg

The Chittagong city mayor, M Manjur Alam, said Bangladeshi students were getting better job opportunities at home and abroad after receiving degrees from the United Kingdom.
He said this while inaugurating a daylong education fair titled ‘Education UK Exhibition 2012’ at a city hotel Sunday morning.
The mayor addressed the ceremony as chief guest while British Council Bangladesh country director Rosemary Arnott and head of performance, marketing and communication Raiqah Walie-Khan were also present. 
The mayor called upon British educational institutions to ease the admission procedures for the Bangladeshi students.
A total of 21 renowned higher educational institutions of UK took part in the fair. 
A large number of students from different schools, colleges and universities visited the fair which was open from noon till 7:00pm.
