Marking the 147th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, TV channels including Channel-i, NTV, ATN Bangla and others outlined different programmes which will be aired through out the day.
   
   Channel-i
   The channel will hold a six-hour programme featuring discussion, poetry recitation, songs, dance, sketching, exhibition, slide show and a display of drawings by Tagore at its premises at Tejgaon in the city. The programme will be aired live.
   In the evening, a musical show by Rezwana Chowdhury Banya will be aired at 7:50pm while a special drama Pratibeshini, based on a story of Tagore, will be aired at 9:35pm. The play is scripted and directed by Hasina Ahmed Soma and Tuku Majniul and Sarwar Bappi. It stars Naznin Hassan Chumki, Syed Shubra and Imran.
   
   NTV
   The channel will air a number of programmes on Tagore on the occasion. The day's event will start with Nabo Aloke at 6:20am. Papia Sarwar, Mita Haque, Sadi Mohammad, Lili Islam and Tapan Mahmood will sing in the programme. The show will be followed by a recitation programme at 7:00am. Documentary show Dhakay Rabindranath will be aired at 11:00am while Swakanthe Rabindranath will be aired at 3:50pm.
   Special drama Nirupama starring Mamo, Shoeb, Wahida Mallick, Rahmat Ali and Paresh Acharya will be aired at 9:00pm. The play is scripted and directed by Ejaj Munna.
   
   ATN Bangla
   Special telefilm Sampatty Arpan, scripted and directed by Ananta Heera, will be aired at 11:15am. The film stars Jayanta, Mir Sabbir and Jyotika.
   Special programme Chotabelay Rabindranath will be aired at 1:05pm while Krishite Rabindranath will be aired at 2:30pm. Gaanguli Mor will be aired at 5:45pm. Sadi Mohammad, Mita Haque, Papia Sarwar, Lili Islam, Fahim Hossain Chowdhury, Amina Ahmed and Nandita Yasmin will sing in the programme.
   Special drama Nishite will be aired at 8:45pm. The play, scripted and directed by Prashun Rahman and Chayanika Chowdhury, stars Mahfuz Ahmed, Richi and Mamo while Hridoye Rabindranath will be aired at 11:30pm.
