Tarique exempted from personal appearance

HC asks govt to explain legality of contempt
of court ordinance

The High Court Sunday asked the government to explain why the newly promulgated contempt of court ordinance would not be declared unconstitutional. 1,000 more double-deckers in capital demanded

The Citizens’ Rights Protection Movement on Sunday demanded that the government should immediately introduce 1,000 more double-deckers in different routes of the capital and save the passengers from being held hostage to the whims of private bus operators.
