Cabinet body nods advice to equate fazil, kamil

FBCCI wants tax holiday to continue till 2010

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry suggested introduction of separate corporate tax for small and medium enterprises and fixing the lowest import duty at 2.5 per cent, down from six per cent now. Diesel vehicles found causing
80pc of air pollution in city

Diesel-run vehicles account for more than 80 per cent of the air pollution in Dhaka as most of them fail to comply with the approved emission standard, said a recently published survey report.
