Two more remanded for Prof Taher killing

Two more people, arrested for their suspected involvement in the killing of Syeed Taher Ahmed, a teacher of geology and mining at Rajshahi University, were placed on a seven-day remand Monday. The police produced Abdus Salam, elder brother of security guard Jahangir Alam, and their father Azimuddin before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s court and sought a 10-day remand. Azimuddin was also shown arrested in another case...
