EU lowers value addition requirement for export
The European Union has decided to give duty-free access with lower local value addition to readymade garments from the least developed countries of the SAARC region under a new GSP arrangement to be effective from July this year. Under the new EU business rules SAARC least developed country will enjoy zero tariff for all its apparel exports to the 25-nation European market.
