Taka loses value by 9pc

Little change in city eateries after mobile court drives

The overall kitchen environment in the city restaurants remained the as earlier even after the mobile courts drives which improved the conditions of the restaurants to some extent. The Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution initiated the mobile court drives on April 3, initially with one court. Oil, spices, meat prices increase

The prices of some essential commodities, including cooking oil, spices and meat, in the city kitchen markets increased further. Sugar price remained unchanged compared with the price the week before, selling for Tk 50 a kilogram. The price increased to Tk 52 from Tk 35 over a month.
