Foul play feared in shrimp export

Rampage at
Mirpur

A mob went on the rampage and stopped traffic movement on Roquiah Sarani for more than three hours after a schoolboy had been killed in a road accident at Mirpur in Dhaka on Sunday. The mob damaged and set fire to a number of vehicles during the violence. The police charged at them with truncheons, lobbed teargas canisters and fired rubber bullets to tackle the situation...
